A Bit About Me

Professional

I’m a technologist with a broad background in software engineering, distributed systems, and product development. Over the past two decades, I’ve built and led the delivery of platforms used by some of the world’s largest e-commerce, healthcare, and financial services companies. I bring a systems mindset and am energized by work that brings people together to solve complex challenges. Lately, I’ve focused on strategic technical advisement for early and growth-stage companies—helping teams navigate architectural decisions, clarify product direction, and connect technical execution with business priorities.

Personal

I live in Philadelphia with my family, where I can be found tending to the garden, renovating a ~100 year old row home, and training Judo & BJJ. Previously, I served as an elected committeeperson representing ~600 of my neighbors and doubling voter turnout, raced several types of bicycles to 0 podiums (but many fun adventures), and helped build a church. My formative years were somewhat rural, Southern, and early-internet.

• Local-first, agentic RAG integration for personal notes using quantized models with a focus on privacy and lower compute requirements
• AWS and various data certifications to fill in areas for services or approaches not used in previous tech stacks
• Basement playroom buildout
